‘The Sound of Our Future: Gala & Concert’ hosted by the San Antonio Sound Garden
Last night was a bittersweet event filled with community, family, and support as the San Antonio Sound Garden (SASG) hosted their first ever ‘The Sound of Our Future: Gala & Concert’. The gala, held at Brick at Blue Star, highlighted SASG’s talented students while also allowing them to say goodbye to their Executive Director of the past six years, Adam Tutor.
San Antonio Sound Garden is a non-profit dedicated to building an educational music foundation for San Antonio students. During his time as Executive Director, Adam Tutor dedicated his time and talents to helping the youth in San Antonio grow their love of music into a sustainable career path through partnerships, hard work, and commitment. Last night’s gala showed just how much of an impact SASG, and Adam, have had on the San Antonio music community. The support and friendship felt at this event was an amazing experience.
Though San Antonio Sound Garden said a sad farewell to Adam, they welcomed their new Executive Director, Pris McGuire. Pris has worked closely with Adam and has great things planned for the SASG organization.
Among the event entertainment were the talented students of San Antonio Sound Garden exhibiting their unique style with original songs and great covers they made their own. Seeing the passion, talent, creativity, and drive of the artists was remarkable. Not only their talent, but to see the support the artists had for one another was inspiring. These young artists truly are our future and what a wonderful future they will bring!
OneAway Studios is a multimedia company that provides services such as videography, photography, photo/video booths, 360 video booths, and a multitude of other services. For San Antonio Sound Garden’s The Sound of Our Future Concert & Gala, OneAway Studios brought this gala and concert to life by providing event videography and photography as well as a photo booth experience that the guests couldn’t get enough of! Also, co-owner of OneAway Studios, Melissa Briseno was the gala Emcee and brought life to the event with her incredible energy.
